Market Resolution

All-In introduces three types of resolution for markets:

Resolution by UMA

This is typically the most common type of market resolution due to its ability to reach consensus on an outcome quickly via UMA's optimistic oracles, whilst still maintaining a sufficient level of decentralization to satisfy mosts needs. It however comes with some drawbacks such as a requirement for a bond, creating the market itself, and occasionally disputation on outcomes.

Resolution by Multsig

This uses an organisation multsig (composed of a panel of expert prediction market traders) for resolution of markets where a feed might not be able to be created by UMA. Disputes may be brought up in event of an uncertain outcome, however the multisig holds the final decision on resolution outcomes.

Resolution by address

This allows any market creator to point to any on-chain address to be used for resolution. This enables fully OTC listings with a third-party as the resolver. Listings can also be unlisted to allow for private bets.

Resolution by real-time AI (coming soon) ✨

Powered by Chaos Labs real-time resolution oracles, resolution by AI will allow an AI agent to resolute a market based on real-time news feed aggregation. This offers an alternative to UMA and in the future may also even assist UMA in making decisions for market resolutions for fairer outcomes.
